Mobility Central offers the convenience of "one-stop" shopping for our customers and healthcare professionals by showcasing a large selection of products in our 6,000 square foot showroom located off Highway 31 in Vestavia, Alabama. Every customer receives prompt, courteous service from well-trained, highly-qualified professionals. In addition to selling quality products, we also offer short-term and long-term rentals of such items as scooters, power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, knee walkers, adjustable beds, lift chairs and ramps.

Mobility Central offers custom fittings for orthotics, compression garments, lymphedema garments and diabetic footwear. Our customers appreciate the comfort and discretion of being measured and fit for specialty garments in Mobility Central's private fitting room. We are certified fitters for Jobst ready-to-wear and Elvarex custom compression garments and wraps. We have been recognized by Jobst as the Birmingham-area "Center of Excellence."

Mobility Central is an authorized provider and service center for Permobil, Pride, Invacare, Harmar, and Bruno mobility products, to name a few. We deliver, install and service everything we sell. We also provide service on most any make and model of medical equipment. Just ask! At Mobility Central, our service technicians provide an estimate of repairs before any work is complete and we guarantee all work for 30 days. All service work and warranty repairs are performed at our nationally accredited in-house service center. We also offer "house calls"!

Let us be your "Aging in Place" partner by providing you with an in-home assessment that will detail every aspect of your living environment and provide you with our exclusive "Three-Year Aging in Place Plan". Your custom plan will include recommendations for home medical equipment and room modifications, as well as a staging timeline that prioritizes action items based on your unique circumstances.

At Mobility Central, we recognize that our customers can be overwhelmed with the realities of paying for home care and equipment. We can help! Our staff works closely with patients and clinicians to answer any questions they may have about insurance reimbursement and out-of-pocket expenses. We offer consumer financing based on approved credit. We also accept all major credit cards: American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
